1. Our Services

NIK Finance is a credit assistance provider and finance broker. We:

• Provide credit assistance by suggesting suitable credit products from our panel of 130+ lenders
• Assist you with credit applications and liaising with lenders
• Act as an intermediary between you and lenders
• Do not provide legal, tax, or financial planning advice
• Do not guarantee loan approval or specific interest rates

2. Eligibility

To use our services, you must:

• Be at least 18 years of age
• Be a resident of Australia
• Provide accurate and complete information in your application
• Have the legal capacity to enter into a credit contract

3. Our Fees

NIK Finance charges $0 in broker fees to customers. We receive commissions from lenders when we successfully arrange finance. These commissions do not affect the interest rate or terms you receive. For full details on our remuneration, please refer to our Credit Guide.

4. Your Obligations

When using our services, you agree to:

• Provide truthful, accurate, and complete information
• Update us if your circumstances change during the application process
• Not provide false or misleading information
• Respond to requests for additional information in a timely manner
• Read and understand all loan documents before signing
• Comply with all applicable laws and regulations

5. Credit Checks and Reporting

By submitting an application, you authorise NIK Finance and our panel of lenders to:

• Obtain your credit report from credit reporting bodies (Equifax, Experian, Illion)
• Disclose your credit information to lenders for assessment purposes
• Exchange information with credit providers about your credit history
• Report information about your credit applications and conduct to credit reporting bodies

Multiple credit enquiries can affect your credit score. We submit your application to multiple lenders on your behalf to minimise the impact.

6. No Guarantee of Approval

While we work hard to find you the best finance option, we cannot guarantee that:

• Your application will be approved
• You will receive a specific interest rate or loan terms
• Approval will be granted within a specific timeframe

Final approval is at the discretion of the lender and subject to their credit criteria.

7. Responsible Lending

We are committed to responsible lending practices. We will:

• Make reasonable enquiries about your financial situation
• Take reasonable steps to verify your information
• Assess whether the credit product is suitable for your needs
• Provide you with a preliminary assessment before submitting your application
• Not pressure you into accepting unsuitable credit
